- Physiotherapy at a cat’s pace

Cat rehabilitation in Wrocław

Cats are exceptionally sensitive patients, so we carry out their rehabilitation calmly and without rushing. We choose gentle exercises, manual therapy and INDIBA therapy so the cat returns to fitness at its own pace.

Why does cat rehabilitation call for a different approach?

Unlike dogs, cats react differently to stress, touch and new surroundings, and they can mask pain almost to the end. That is why we build a cat’s rehabilitation slowly, giving it time to get used to the clinic and the therapist. Shorter sessions, a quiet setting and careful observation of responses allow effective therapy without unnecessary tension.

When does a cat need rehabilitation?

After orthopaedic surgery and injuries (e.g. after a fall from height)
In degenerative joint disease, common in senior cats
In neurological problems and paresis
In overweight and reduced activity and fitness
In caring for a senior cat - to maintain mobility

Methods we use with cats

Terapia INDIBA

Painless 448 kHz radiofrequency - most cats perceive it as pleasant warmth, which makes therapy easier.

Manual therapy & massage

Gentle work with the tissues releases tension, improves mobility and eases pain.

Therapeutic exercise

Short, motivating exercises that rebuild range of motion and muscle strength at a cat’s pace.

What owners say

“

After cruciate ligament surgery our labrador would not put weight on the leg. Water treadmill sessions spread over several weeks brought his normal walks back.

I was afraid our cat would not tolerate any therapy. He was handled calmly, without force and at his own pace - after a course of treatments he stopped guarding the leg.

Our dog has hip dysplasia. Regular physiotherapy and the home exercises we were shown and given in writing clearly improved her mobility.
